천추태후 (Empress Cheonchu)

This drama is based on a Korean true history. And there are 78 episodes total.  Every episode is full of juicy story and I’m always excited to watch them.  In this drama, I can see how women can be strong and sexy at the same time.  One of my favorite favorite characters, Empress Xiao (The Khitan Queen!), is a beautiful and very intelligent woman.  She is also very wise and give the main character, Cheonchu, very helpful advice even they are rival to each other. This wonderful drama is worth investing your time.

마당을 나온 암탉 (Leafie, A Hen Into The wild)

 The director is Oh Seong-yoon. The story is about a chicken protagonist,Leafie, who is eager to be free from a chicken farm.  It is a place where she cannot move and is stuck in a tiny box only to lay eggs forever. When she finally escapes from it, she faces the full responsibilities of life.  When I watched this film, I was so touched how amazingly strong the heroine is. This film is so powerful and I would love every single woman to watch it.
